Select Before or After, then drag inside the preview to align that photo. Turn on the overlay for a shared reference.
More than a collage
Line up the change, not just the file edges
Before-and-after photos often come from different distances, angles or cameras. A basic collage places the files together but leaves the subject jumping between frames. Here you can select each photo, zoom it independently and drag it until the important edges line up.
The transparent alignment overlay lets you compare both photos in the same frame while you adjust them. Return to the finished side-by-side, stacked or split view before downloading.
One clean export
Make comparisons for progress, projects and edits
Use a square result for general sharing, 4:5 for a portrait feed, 16:9 for presentations and websites, or 9:16 for Stories and vertical social posts. Labels can show Before/After, dates, Week 1/Week 12, Raw/Edit or any short context.
The tool is useful for renovations, cleaning, landscaping, fitness progress, hair and beauty work, photo retouching and design revisions. It creates a visual comparison; it does not certify dates, results or medical claims.

FAQ
Before and After Photo Maker FAQ
How do I make a before and after photo?
Add a before photo and an after photo, choose a side-by-side, stacked or split layout, align each image, edit the labels and download one PNG or JPG.
How can I line up photos taken from different positions?
Select the image you want to adjust, turn on the transparent alignment overlay, then drag in the preview and change the zoom until key edges or the subject occupy the same position. The tool cannot recreate a missing camera angle, but it makes small framing differences much easier to correct.
Can I change Before and After to dates or measurements?
Yes. Both labels are editable. Short labels such as Jan 2026 / Aug 2026, Week 1 / Week 12, Original / Retouched or Start / Finish work well.
Which format should I use for social media?
Use 4:5 for a portrait feed image, 1:1 for a square post, 9:16 for a Story or vertical post, and 16:9 for a wide website, slide or video-thumbnail comparison.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The images are decoded, aligned, labeled and exported locally in your browser. They are not sent to our image-processing server.
