Adjust seams
Only change a join when the automatic result repeats or cuts content.
Built for scrolling captures
Stitch screenshots without repeated rows
A basic image combiner places full screenshots one after another, leaving the shared part visible twice. This screenshot stitcher samples the bottom of each image and the top of the next, finds the closest match, and removes that overlap before drawing the final long image.
Keep the captures in top-to-bottom order. If an app repeats a fixed header, toolbar or footer, use the trim controls to exclude it from every image before overlap detection.
Crisp text, private files
Make one shareable long screenshot in your browser
PNG export keeps interface text and chat messages sharp. JPG produces a smaller file for photo-heavy captures. Processing happens locally, so private conversations, receipts and account screens are not sent to us.
The output width follows your screenshots and is reduced only when a browser-safe canvas size is needed. You can reorder, remove and retry captures without uploading them again.
Three steps
How to combine overlapping screenshots
- Capture with overlap. Leave some shared content between consecutive screenshots so the tool has a visual match.
- Add in reading order. Upload, paste or drop captures from the top of the page to the bottom.
- Review the joins. Check the detected-overlap report. If one seam is wrong, adjust that join without changing the others, then download one PNG or JPG.
FAQ
Screenshot Stitcher FAQ
How much overlap should screenshots have?
A visible shared band works best—roughly 10% to 40% of the screenshot height. Text, icons and varied page elements are easier to match than a large blank area.
What if a join repeats or cuts off content?
Open Adjust seams below the preview and move only the affected join. The preview and downloaded file use the same value. Choose Auto to restore automatic detection for that seam.
What if no overlap is detected?
Confirm the order, add captures with more shared content, or trim a repeated fixed header or footer. When the match is uncertain, the tool keeps the full next screenshot instead of deleting rows blindly; you can then set that seam manually.
Can I stitch screenshots with different widths?
Yes. Each capture is normalized to one output width while keeping its aspect ratio.
Are screenshots uploaded to a server?
No. Your images stay on your device; matching and export happen in this browser tab.
