Print. Trim. Assemble.
- PrintMatch the PDF paper size. Choose 100% (Actual size), with scaling off.
- TrimCut white margins at the outer marks. On later columns or rows, trim the left or top overlap at its extra marks.
- AssembleMatch the repeated picture edges, working left to right, top to bottom. Tape from behind.
How do margins, overlap and poster size work?
Margins protect the area your printer cannot reach. Overlap repeats a narrow strip of the picture on neighbouring pages so you can align and join them. Finished paper coverage excludes outer margins and counts each overlap once; the image dimensions describe the whole photo inside it. Page-grid mode fits the entire image into that area. Image-width mode keeps the width you specify and adds enough pages to cover it.
Low DPI means the original has too few pixels for that print size. Use a smaller poster or a larger source image. This tool does not invent new image detail. Try one page first: printer drivers and borderless modes can still scale the PDF.
Is this different from an Instagram splitter or a contact sheet?
Yes. This tool divides one image into physical printer pages in a single PDF. The Instagram splitter exports separate social-post images. A contact sheet arranges many photos on review sheets. To print a collage across multiple pages, first download it from the Photo Grid Maker, then choose that image here.
